About the Role
Accounts Payable and Receivable Job Responsibilities:
The accounts payable and receivable clerk is responsible for checking figures and creating spreadsheets:
· Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
· Pays invoices by verifying transaction information, Scheduling, and obtaining authorization of payment.
· Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
· Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
· Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
· Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation.
· Matching Payable.
· Filing and other related office duties.
Shifts: Monday to Friday (9:00AM – 5:30PM).
Job Type – Permanent, Full Time.
Schedule – 8 Hour
Requirements
· College diploma preferably in Business or accounting.
· Must have at least 1 to 2 years Canadian Account Receivable and Payable experience.
· Advanced computer skills, experienced in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, etc.)
· High degree of accuracy
· Great attention to detail
· Excellent customer service, effective written and verbal communication skills.
